According to Wikipedia , A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order.

Blogs are an easy way to get information out to the masses. In education, they can be used to keep parents informed about what is going on in a class, or to notify about an upcoming trip. How about homework? It also lets others comment on the information.

If you haven't had much to do with blogs, a good way to start is by reading some. There are many educational blogs on the Bloggers to Learn From Wiki. While there are many blogs available, Blogspot is an easy one to use.
